Christian Howes has received numerous acclaims for his unique contributions to the largely unforged field of Jazz Violin. Classically trained since the age of five, Christian appeared as a guest soloist with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra at Sixteen.

He recently produced his second album, Ten Yard, featuring nine original compositions, which the L.A. Times review as "exceptional... Howes is a jazz player whose solid, classically trained technique provides the freedon to fully express an expansive improvisaional imagination" (Don Heckman, The Los Angeles Times, June 19, 1998).
